I always admired what she stood for and the values she held, through secondary I viewed her as someone that was in such a higher level and understanding than everyone else. I did not know Alex by that point, but by then I already could see the energy she held. Coming into college is when I was able to become friends with Alex. That energy I saw was true, Alex is someone who has a golden energy. Lightening the room when she came in, someone you cannot help but feel inspired and connected by, a yellow aura that was so beautiful. Alex wanted everyone to feel loved, feel as if at any point someone could speak to her. No matter what happened between me and Alex, silly arguments or our silly nights spent giggling she was always so pure. Her music that inspired me, connecting me to what she loved. Alex never saw her true talent, I wish she would’ve seen that her voice didn’t need work or how truly beautiful she was. I keep waiting for her to ring me with a silly smile on her face, waiting to tell me about where she’s staying for University, or asking me to go on a maccies trip. Alex loved, love. No one will be able to replicate the energy that Alex held, neither should they. I have always admired Alex, even from year seven when seeing her become the year rep for student council. I’m lucky to have shared the times I have with her. Thank you Alex for what you gave to everyone around you, I hope you can breathe easy and never leave us. I’ll always be thinking of the joy you brought. My best wishes for your family, I hope you are doing as well as you can in this time, please remember to look after yourself because in sure Alex would have all been telling us that we need to. I’ve learnt so much from Alex, and i’m sure I will continue to do so
